Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Mom and Christy!
Mom, thanks for all you do and for being a great Mom! And thanks so much for helping me with Nathan this weekend while I was sick! Impeccable timing or what?! Nate already misses his "Grandpa Suzie"!

Christy, you'll be a great Mom, no doubt! My sister, Christy, had her first baby on Friday, just in time for Mother's Day! Check out all the hair she has. I still can't believe how much she has!

What a sweet baby! Hope all of you Mothers have a great day today!

Fun with Grandpa and Grandpa

My parents came this weekend to see my sister's new baby girl and they stayed at our house Friday and Saturday nights. Nathan loved having them sleepover! He calls them both Grandpa, which is funny, but he had a great time playing with them while they were here. He got to play swords/guns and read stories with them and they also took him shopping to see the fishies at the pet store for a little while. I was super grateful they were here because I came down with a nasty bug and was sick most of the weekend... so just having them here to play with Nate was a lifesaver. Thanks Mom & Dad!!!
(Mom you lucked out because I never got a picture of you....just wait 'til next time!)

Love those playgroups

Can I just say not only does Nathan love playgroup every Thursday, but so do I. It gives me something to look forward to each week and it's so nice to be able to visit with other moms in the ward and get to know all of them better. Here are a few pictures of the last playgroud we went to. Since the weather wasn't the greatest, we went to the mall, let the kids play for awhile, ate lunch together and then some of us that stuck around long enough rode the carousel. I swear we have the worst timing...the lady who runs the carousel always takes her lunch break right as we are finishing lunch and wanting to ride. We all decided that next time we will let the kids ride first, then eat. Nate loves to ride the horsies but cries every time he has to get off he loves it that much.

Library Days

The library is becoming a favorite stop for Nathan and I lately. He LOVES to read the pop-up dinosuar books while we are there and search for anything that may have a dinosaur on it....can I just say dinosaur fanatic! Nate had his first experience returning books the other day and wasn't too sure about it. He thought it was fun putting the books on the conveyor belt to return them, until we came to the "horsie" book that had become his favorite the few days before. Needless to say, the horsie book didn't get return this week because he couldn't quite part with it. I'll have to sneak it to the returns next time! I think the library is also one of his favorite places to go because there is a water fountain outside. After we get new books we have to make a little stop to see the water and swing on the swings. He brought his "purse" this time so he could carry his books. He only had five in there, but it was a little too heavy for him to carry so he drug it around. It was funny. Here's some pictures of our latest library trip.

Pizza Night!

We had pizza for dinner tonight and I couldn't help but post the event as our first blog! We all pitched in and helped with parts of the pizza (I made the crust, Larry the sauce) and Nathan helped put all the toppings on. I couldn't belive how much fun he had making pizza! We got a little video of him telling us what he was doing too. He is talking so much lately and it is fun to hear him say new words he hasn't said before, such as "pepperoni". You'll have to watch it to hear him say it and see how it much fun it was! Enjoy....

Sprinkling on the cheese...

adding the olives....
and the finished product...yummy!

Say "Pepperoni"....

Getting Started

Hello everyone! As you can see....I am finally giving in to the many of you who have suggested we should start a blog! I really love looking at all of your blogs and watching the events of your lives and now you can see ours. I just hesitate to start mostly because I don't know what I'm doing or how much time it will require to figure it out. We'll see how it goes!....
