She's Here!

Our sweet little Kamry has arrived! She came on Tuesday and weighed 7lbs, 5 oz and was 19 inches long. Labor was only two and a half hours after I was induced and everything went really well. I feel great and she is such a good baby. I could spend all day just holding her and staring at her. Nate instantly loved her too and makes sure she gets lots of kisses and hugs everyday. We are so blessed to have such a sweet little spirit in our home! I love being a Mom!

Pretty in pink....

Shooting Fun

We went shooting skeet and watermelons yesterday with some friends from Pharmacy school. It was such a nice evening for shooting and we had a really good time. How can you not have a good time with fun friends and fun activities? I haven't been shooting for so long I almost forgot how much I like it...especially blasting the clay pigeons into dust!

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this one....I usually prop the gun on my hip, but with no hips it ended up on my belly, hahaha. I wish our baby would get here already....I was hoping the loud shooting would startle her enough to get her here, but unfortunately it didn't work. It's probably because she's going to like shooting too :)

BIRTHDAY WISHES

Happy Birthday To My
Handsome Husband!!!!
You're the best husband and Dad we could ask for!

We love you and love you and love you!

That cute little puppy

Well, I've had quite a few questions about that cute little puppy Nate is holding. I should have written a little when I posted the picture...but I'll do it now instead. He isn't ours (I don't think I could handle having a dog and two kids yet! Not until we have our own place at least.). He's one of the puppies my Mom's dog had. Nate calls him Wishbone because he thinks he looks like the dog on the show "Wishbone". He was the only puppy Nate would hold while we were at my parent's house. Nate asked me the other day....
Nate:"Mom, where's Wishbone"
Me: "He's still at Grandma's house, do you need to see him again?"
Nate: "Yes, I do....I love him".
How cute huh! Good thing my parents are bringing Wishbone when they come to visit this weekend!

Pteradactyles, Triceratops', & T-Rexes Oh My!

Catching up...

I'm a slacker! It's been over a month since I posted anything, so I thought it was about time I caught up. I don't feel like I have very many fun pictures to share right now though. I have been super annoyed with my camera lately because it takes forever to save between pictures and I end up missing all the cute ones I was trying to get. I'm still on the search for a new camera that I like. I haven't found one that screams "buy me" yet. Any suggestion? I need to get one before the new baby comes so I can get lots of good pictures of her. Time is quickly running out too! I can't believe there are only 30 days until she will be here-I'm really glad though :)
Here are a few pictures of the fun things we've been doing lately...mostly we've been spending time at Grandparent's homes. Last weekend it was a Larry's parent's house and this whole week Nate and I are at my parent's house.
Last weekend we took Nate and his cousin Will fishing at a kiddie pond. Grandma Jody took the boys to the other side and helped them throw rocks into the water to keep them entertained while the guys tried to catch a fish for them to reel in. I couldn't believe we didn't even have a bite, especially since we could see the fish in the water. They knew exactly how to get the powerbait without getting hooked.

Here's us riding in the back of the truck to the pond....Grandpa Larry and Larry fishing...and the boys throwing rocks in.

I also took Nate to the dinosaur museum while Larry was on a more serious fishing trip with his Dad. Nate loves that place! Can you tell?! He knows the names of most of the dinosaurs...it's pretty funny to hear him say such big words for such a little guy. I'll have to post a video too.

That one's blurry....camera was too slow and Nate moved....ugh!
Nate and Will had lots of fun playing with glow sticks the night we stayed.

So far at my parent's house we've been swimming, riding on the four-wheelers, rabbit "hunting" in the bushes and have played with the puppies. I'll have to get pictures of all of those things to post next time.
I bought this pool to bring down with us since there isn't a place for us to have one at our apartment complex. I can't wait for the day when we have our own yard for things like this. It's super nice to go out the front door and jump in. Nate loves it...and throwing rocks in it too. I guess he learned that from the fishing trip :)

Nate is squirting Grandpa Terry with a super soaker and loving it!
