Girl's Trip

This weekend was such a fun one and a well needed one for me too. Larry's three sisters: Mandy, Emily, Tiffany and I went to Park City for a "Girl's Trip". Unfortunately I had to take Nate because Larry ended up working, but it was ok. Next time I will be kid free for sure though :) We had fun just hanging out and laughing together. We did alot of shopping and found some sweet deals on kids clothes, which I am always grateful for. Larry's sisters went on a zipline ride and a roller coaster ride down one of the mountains. They said it was a blast so I'll have to try it next time we go. I didn't think it was such a good idea to ride since I'm 7 months pregnant!
The rides started at the top of this mountain...

Nate and I rode the Carousel and played on the "huge dump truck" as he called it while we waited for them.

The best part of the trip for me was when we all got pedicures...well, all of us except Emily. They only had three chairs so she volunteered to be the odd woman out this time. I've never had a pedicure before, but I LOVED IT! And could possibly be addicted. I have to say one of the best things ever is having someone else rub your feet and legs and paint your toes for you! It took all the energy I could muster to reach around my big belly and down to my toes and paint them myself a couple weeks ago, so it was wonderful to have someone else do it...and they look better too! My only wish is that is would have been longer! Me...

Mandy....

Tiffany...

The finished product....
Nate even got in on the fun. Thanks Emily for helping watch him!
I'm excited for our next trip!!!!

Ever Tried Mouse?

Does that mouse look real or what! I spotted these little critters at the dollar store and couldn't resist the urge to buy them to play tricks on people. It's a gummy candy mouse, but it seems so life like it's unreal! They are actually a little squishy too which makes it even better :) I put one in my brother-in-law's shoe (he hates mice) and he thought it was pretty sick when he found it, especially because it was squishy when he pulled it out! hahaha!

Nate kept asking to eat one but when it came right down to it he never did eat it. I could barely get him to keep it in his mouth long enough to snap this picture! Honestly, I had a difficult time trying a taste of one too. They didn't taste bad, it was just the fact that I was chewing on a mouse that was a little disturbing!

I just wanted to share my new favorite picture. What a sweet boy I have....giving his cousin McKinlee kisses. I just hope he is that sweet with his own sister when she gets here!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

It's been way too long since I updated our blog, so without having to write too much to catch up, here is a picture recap of what we have been up to lately. I think pictures can show best what we've been doing for fun.....Enjoy!

Memorial Day Fun

We had a great memorial day weekend! On Saturday my Dad came up with the 4-wheelers and we all went on a big ride in the mountains. My sister, her husband and his brothers and sister went too. It was such a nice day and the ride was really fun. Nate had a blast riding with us. He giggled everytime a bush would brush up against us and everytime we crossed the creek. He was great entertainment for me since I was holding him on my lap (That was pretty tricky, but it worked). He played hard at the top and had so much fun throwing sticks in the creek and snowballs at us that he fell asleep on the way back down the mountain. We also spent Monday with Larry's family. We had a big BBQ at the park and played on the slides. Larry's aunt Jenny gave Nate and his cousin Will little lawn mowers that blow bubbles. They thought they were the greatest toys ever and would have mowed the entire field if we would have let them!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Mom and Christy!
Mom, thanks for all you do and for being a great Mom! And thanks so much for helping me with Nathan this weekend while I was sick! Impeccable timing or what?! Nate already misses his "Grandpa Suzie"!

Christy, you'll be a great Mom, no doubt! My sister, Christy, had her first baby on Friday, just in time for Mother's Day! Check out all the hair she has. I still can't believe how much she has!

What a sweet baby! Hope all of you Mothers have a great day today!

Fun with Grandpa and Grandpa

My parents came this weekend to see my sister's new baby girl and they stayed at our house Friday and Saturday nights. Nathan loved having them sleepover! He calls them both Grandpa, which is funny, but he had a great time playing with them while they were here. He got to play swords/guns and read stories with them and they also took him shopping to see the fishies at the pet store for a little while. I was super grateful they were here because I came down with a nasty bug and was sick most of the weekend... so just having them here to play with Nate was a lifesaver. Thanks Mom & Dad!!!
(Mom you lucked out because I never got a picture of you....just wait 'til next time!)
